Messy Play

Our time in the garden allows for the children to experience messy and unstructured play. They use whatever materials are to hand to build and create. Stones, blocks, sand and mud can be transformed into dens and ponds or whatever place they wish to create. Basic materials such as buckets, spades and wooden planks leave space for more imaginative and child-led play. This environment is great for group play, with every child having a role.
